Innovation Lab | German shipyard Meyer Werft and the University of Groningen are to collaborate on joint projects. The objective of the tie-up is to expand the interaction between science and the economy and the two partners will create the Innovation Lab Papenburg – Groningen 2018-2050. The first three projects have already been identified. One will investigate next generation information technology in the production environment, with a particular focus on the cruise sector.
