Start-up offers new diesel-based SCR technology
A new selective catalytic reduction technology, based on diesel oil as a reductant and providing a reduction of more than 80% in nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions, has been launched by Adnox AS, a Danish research and development start-up in which Hans Jensen Lubricators AS holds a majority stake. Injected oil generates heat which can be recovered to produce steam or electricity.
