Upgraded satellite antenna
The new v85NX Ku- to Ka-band antenna from Intellian Technologies is easier to install, operate and upgrade than earlier systems because it is smaller, lighter and has improved radio frequency performance. Targeting customers in sectors including commercial shipping, offshore and yachting, Intellian’s new antenna provides smaller vessels with access to one-metre designated networks and offers improved Ku-band performance of about 1.5dB compared to existing 80cm systems, the company said recently.
