UK-based water quality monitoring specialists, Rivertrace, will be showcasing its range of oil-in-water monitors and analysers at this year’s SMM. The portfolio includes: The Smartsafe ORB (oil record book bilge overboard security system), which records the oily water discharge process of any oil water separator (IMO-MEPC 60.33 or 107.49) thus avoiding the common mistakes of manual entries and log variations in the oil record book; The Smart PFM 107 oil-in-water monitor, which measures particulates in the sample stream on a continuous basis by passing the process fluid through a proprietary photo optical measuring cell, developed by Rivertrace Technologies; The Smart ESM, which is a wash water monitor that is suitable for both the inlet and outlet of a wet exhaust gas cleaning system, measuring and recording PAH, turbidity, temperature and pH, on open-loop, closed-loop and hybrid scrubber systems....
