Wind power verification approved
Bar Technologies | Lloyd’s Register (LR) has approved technology developed by UK-based Bar Technologies, a marine engineering and wind power specialist, for its wind power calculation methodology. Using computational fluid dynamics (CFD), Bar Technologies’ P-Wind system measures the power generated by its WindWings® technology. The new measurement system confirms the company’s approach and its alignment with IMO and International Towing Tank Conference methodologies.
