Two-stroke ammonia engine to set milestone in zero-carbon shipping
Engine designer Everllence has introduced its new B&W ME-LGIA dual-fuel ammonia engine, marking a major milestone in the maritime industry’s transition toward zero-carbon propulsion. The engine, unveiled during a two-day event in Copenhagen attended by more than 300 industry representatives, is now open for newbuilding orders.
