LNG repairs and life extensions a key focus for MHB
Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering (MMHE), a subsidiary of the MHB Group, has serviced and repaired an average of ten LNG carriers every year for the last two decades. This year, in addition to projects for parent company MISC Berhad, a subsidiary of Malaysia’s national oil company Petronas, the shipyard has undertaken projects for international LNG clients including Norway’s Knutsen, Alpha Gas of Greece, and energy major Shell. In the first half of the year, LNG carriers serviced at the yard included MISC’s Seri Camar , 150,200m3, and Seri Ayu , 147,000m3, the 173,400m3 Sevilla Knutsen and the 180,000m3 GasLog Wales ....
