Stand B02-14 At this year’s show, Wago, a leading supplier of connection and automation technology, will focus on a pathway to a digital future in the maritime industry. The German company notes that even though the collection and analysis of data on board vessels is becoming more and more important, the full potential is still rarely used. On the one hand, this is due to the hindrance of consistent horizontal and vertical integration by insufficient network coverage and low bandwidths at sea. On the other hand, most automation solutions have been realised in the central systems rather than in the subsystems.
