Stand A01-9 Gothenburg-based I-Tech will be showcasing Selektope®, the multi-award-winning bio-repellent active agent for anti-fouling coatings. Selektope repels barnacle settlement on ships’ hulls by temporarily stimulating the barnacle larvae’s swimming behaviour. It is distinguished by extremely low biocidal loading and is harmless to the marine environment and has been approved by Japanese, South Korean, Chinese and European regulatory bodies.
