Offshore maintenance coating unveiled at OTC
Norsok-approved | A new coating range, recently launched by Norway’s Jotun at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in Houston, will improve the efficiency, extend the durability and cut the cost of maintaining offshore assets, it is claimed. The three-part coating system consists of Barrier Smart Pack, Jotamastic Smart Pack HB and Hardtop One, and is the world’s first Norsok-approved maintenance product for brush and roller application on power-tooled and water-jetted surfaces. Norsok, developed by the Norwegian offshore industry and managed by Standards Norway, gauges the safety and efficiency of materials used in the offshore energy sector.
