Study highlights low port readiness for handling CO2

Ports currently lack the infrastructure and systems necessary for handing carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) captured by ships at sea, according to a recent study commissioned by the Singapore-based Global Centre for Maritime Decarbonisation (GCMD) in collaboration with Lloyd’s Register and Arup, a port engineering decarbonisation consultancy.
