MoU to propel South Korean offshore wind sector
Offshore wind turbine developer, Vestas, and A.P. Møller-Maersk have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to set up a nacelle manufacturing plant and logistics base at the Mokpo New Port Hinterland Complex in South Korea. The MoU outlines Vestas’ intention to explore collaboration opportunities with local suppliers for offshore wind turbine components, the companies said.
