Marine travel company unveils five-point efficiency scheme
London-based ATPI Marine Travel has launched a new programme to improve the efficiency of crew change cycles before, during, and after arrival. The five-part Crew Change Logistics scheme has been designed to optimise planning and operations, with a focus on data and market intelligence, the company said, supported by targeted communications and consultancy services. The aim is to reduce the impact of ‘pain points’ in crew rotation cycles while unlocking new operational and cost efficiencies. The five components of the new package are: ATPI CrewView helps in the coordination of crew changes and crew travel arrangements with savings made by travel bookings based on data analytics and peer benchmarking; ATPI CrewD2D (Door to Deck) simplifies management, notification and communications relating to land and air travel at crew change locations....
