Svitzer orders two TRAnsverse tugs
Uzmar | Towage group Svitzer, part of A.P. Møller-Mærsk, has ordered two tugs of a new TRAnsverse design for its Australian business at Uzmar Shipyard in Turkey. Developed in collaboration with sector specialists Robert Allan Ltd, the tugs will be significantly more fuel-efficient and could cut fuel consumption by 10-15% compared with similar vessels, Svitzer said.
