Damen and Baltic Workboats sign partnership deal
Damen Shipyards and Estonia-based Baltic Workboats (BWB) have signed an agreement to cooperate on the construction of a number of Damen’s Fast Crew Suppliers, FCS 2710s, at BWB’s Estonian shipyard on Saaremaa Island. Aluminium for the first vessels has already been cut, and the first vessel is likely to be delivered during summer 2024. More than ten of the vessels will be built over the next five years, the companies said, using serial production techniques adapted from the automotive sector.
