Electric water shuttles to go autonomous
Oslo-based Hyke – Hydrolift Smart City Ferries – has signed a letter of intent (LoI) with Remota AS, a joint venture between DeepOcean, Solstad Offshore and Østensjø Group, to develop autonomous systems for Hyke’s water shuttles. The LoI sets out plans for the introduction of remote ferry operation and the development of an interface between Hyke’s water shuttles and Remota’s Remote Operation Centres.
