Schulte orders more offshore wind ships
CSOVs | Bernard Schulte Offshore has signed a contract with Norway’s Ulstein Verft for two, option four, commissioning service operation vessels (CSOVs) of the Ulstein SX222 design. The 89.6m-long ships will have Ulstein’s Twin X-Stern design with two sterns and two propellers both fore and aft. The hull configuration aids precise dynamic positioning operation regardless of whether the vessels face wind and waves in a head sea, or the weather comes from astern.
