Lehmann presents new stackable battery system
Germany’s Lehmann Marine has released details of a new air-cooled battery system – CUBE – to accompany its existing COBRA range. The stackable CUBE series has been designed to maximise energy density in ships’ battery spaces. Lehmann’s experts have designed a system in which flexible stacking can optimise space. Meanwhile, the air-cooling technology ensures uniform cooling of all battery cells to extend life cycles. Modular battery units can be freely configured in strings of up to 1,000 VDC, the company said....
