Thruster maker unveils marine hybrid module
Friedrichshafen-based thruster manufacturer, ZF, launched a new driveline system at this year’s Nor-Shipping event in Oslo. The new hybrid module, it claims, will reduce space on board vessels and simplify installation. The new setup of electrification of new and existing ships will be much simpler, the company said, largely because of its patented supporting frame.
