ADB approves loan for Ivory Coast repair facility
The Abidjan-based African Development Bank (ADB) has approved funding of just over USD 23 million to a special-purpose entity, Prime Meridian Docks AssetCo Ltd (PMD), for a new floating dock ship repair facility in Ghana’s Takoradi port on the Gulf of Guinea. Directors of the bank also authorised a syndication, based on ‘best efforts’, for additional funding of up to USD 11 million, the ADB said in a statement.
