Overview | The maritime sector in Finland is versatile. With its two strategically well-positioned cities along the Baltic Sea – Turku on the southwest coast and the capital Helsinki on the shore of the Gulf of Finland – the Nordic country is one of the most important maritime hubs in Europe.
