Zeaborn takes over E.R. Schiffahrt
Consolidation | Bremen-based Zeaborn Shipping GmbH & Co. KG has taken over E.R. Schiffahrt, Harper Petersen and Rickmers Shipmanagement in a deal that results in a powerful new entity in the multi-purpose and project cargo sector. Zeaborn, established in 2013, will also acquire NPC Projects and MCC Marine Consulting & Contracting, a bunker and chartering broker. The transaction, which is subject to approval from antitrust authorities, results in a managed fleet of 165 container ships, bulk carriers and multipurpose vessels, 5,000 seagoing staff, and 360 shore-based personnel across an expanded global network Bertram R.C....
