MacGregor buys Rapp Marine
Acquisition completed | Cargo tec subsidiary, MacGregor, has strengthened its presence in the fishery and research vessel sector by completing the acquisition of Rapp Marine Group (RMG) for about EUR 16 million. MacGregor is already active in this market through its Triplex deck handling product portfolio but Høye Høyesen, vice president, Advanced Offshore Solutions, pointed out that adding the RMG team members and technologies will further strengthen its position.
