Safety equipment for cruise vessels
Denmark’s VIKING Life-Saving Equipment chose the recent Marintec China event to showcase its expanded range of life-saving products, among them its latest marine evacuation system (MES) that enables shipowners and operators to reduce servicing costs and administration significantly. Called the Viking VEC PlusTM, the new MES differs from existing systems in its ease of servicing and fewer mechanical parts, enabling lower lifetime operating costs, the company said.
