Set up of fuel data plan
A new support service for setting up a data collection plan in accordance with fuel consumption reporting as stipulated by the IMO has been unveiled by ClassNK. The IMO regulation, which applies to ships of more than 5,000gt engaged in international voyages, will require data collecting and reporting from the beginning of 2019. It dictates the gathering of fuel consumption data and a Data Collection Plan (DCP) outlining reporting procedures to be included as part 2 of vessels’ Ship Energy Efficiency Management Plans (SEEMP)....
