Construction of Norwegian Encore begins
Breakaway Plus | The machining of first steel plate for the Norwegian Encore , the fourth ship in Norwegian Cruise Line’s (NCL) Breakaway Plus class, has now commenced following a ceremony in Meyer Werft’s Papenburg yard Laser Centre. Andy Stuart, president of the cruise line, accompanied by Tim Meyer, the shipbuilder’s managing director, pushed the button on the computer-controlled cutting machine, beginning a construction process that will continue until the 167,800gt ship is delivered in 2019....
