Top ten fleets worth USD 516 billion
Data provider VesselsValue has release its annual world fleet values ranking, analysing the top ten shipowning nations. The value of their fleets totals USD 516 billion. Topping the list is Greece, with an owned fleet worth just shy of USD 100 billion, followed closely by Japan and China, worth USD 89 and 84 billion, respectively. The German-owned fleet is worth USD 33 billion and currently ranks as the seventh most valuable fleet in the world.
