MoU on warship construction
Modular craft | US defence, rescue and patrol company Eureka Naval Craft has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Singapore’s Strategic Marine to build up its production of modular attack surface craft for the US Navy and it allies. The MoU focuses specifically on the Aircat Bengal MC warship, based on a catamaran specification, for the US and other navies. The vessel design can also be adapted for operation as a workboat in the offshore sector. The 36m-long ship, which can operate partly or fully autonomously, is claimed to be the first naval vessel in the world to be capable of carrying a 40-tonne payload at speeds of more than 50 knots....
