Electric USV to be commissioned in 2026
Rostock-based Subsea Europe Services GmbH (SES) has unveiled a new uncrewed surface vessel (USV) designed to undertake hydrographic surveys, environmental monitoring, and offshore asset inspections. The 4m all-electric C-RECON 13-ES, due to be launched next year, is designed for deployment from small vessels, marinas, or directly from the beach. The carbon-fibre structure has a payload of 200kg, and its zero-emission, battery-powered propulsion enables deployment in environmentally sensitive zones....
