Digital system to manage cyber reporting
Tel Aviv-based maritime cyber security specialist, Cydome, has unveiled a class-endorsed reporting tool to support compliance with new US requirements on cyber incident reporting. Since mid-July, all companies with maritime assets in or heading to US waters must report all such incidents. According to the Israeli company, a shipping company faces a cyber threat on average every three days. Yet many companies do not have appropriate cyber protection systems in place.
