First of two Scottish island ferries launched
Lochmor | The first of two ferries to be deployed on the Little Minch Scottish island service has been launched at Cemre Marin Endustri in Yalova, Turkey. The Lochmor and sister vessel, Claymore , will operate on the route between the Isle of Skye and the islands of Harris and North Uist. They are the third and fourth vessels currently under construction at the Turkish yard for Caledonian Maritime Assets Limited (CMAL). The two ferries will replace the single vessel currently operating on the route, Hebrides, enhancing the service and providing more capacity....
