Autonomous vessel concept suits range of functions
London-based ship design consultancy, BMT, has unveiled a new autonomous vessel concept capable of being adapted for a range of functions. Its Modular Uncrewed Ship (Modus) offers new opportunities for cooperation with industries and sectors enabling vessels to be tailored accordingly. It also meets growing demand from navies and defence forces for unmanned vessels that are more compact, faster, and cheaper to build.
