Finland’s Vaisala acquires UK’s Nevis Technology
Offshore sector | Helsinki-based Vaisala, a climate and environment analytics firm, has acquired UK-based Nevis Technology Limited, a weather-monitoring and services specialist, in a move to develop more business in the offshore wind sector. The acquisition will strengthen Vaisala’s business, enabling safer and more efficient installations, crew transfer operations, and maintenance of offshore facilities while also boosting uptime.
