US partners focus on carbon capture

Shipping’s decarbonisation process could be hastened by a new partnership between US-based technology firms. e1Marine is a developer of methanol-to-hydrogen power (M2PWR) for the shipping industry and mobile emissions capture and control systems. It will collaborate with STAX Engineering, an emissions capture and control (C&C) consultancy that specialises in reducing pollution from ships. In a project that is funded by the South Coast Air Quality Management District and California Air Resources Board (CARB) as part of California Climate Investments, the partners are developing a new technology that is likely to be deployed early next year....
