Dedicated investment platform targets offshore service vessels
Hamburg-based MPC Capital, an investment and asset manager specialising in maritime and energy infrastructure, has launched a new investment vehicle targeting offshore wind and service vessels. Its first project involves the construction of six emission-free offshore survey and service vessels (OSSV) which, the company said, aligns with its focus on maritime and energy infrastructure. The six ships, to be built at Esbjerg Shipyard in Denmark for deliveries between 2026 and 2028, will work on wind farms in the North and Baltic seas....
