New luboil consumption tool unveiled
Closelink, a Hamburg-based technology and luboil procurement company, has developed a calculated average consumption tool, enabling more accurate accounting for use of lubricants over an engine’s lifespan. The new tool will take into account remaining on board (ROB) figures from vessel noon reports, which can be used to discern the length of time remaining inventories will last before new supplies are required.
