ABB wins US hybrid propulsion contract
Sampling vessel | ABB has won an order to supply a hybrid-electric propulsion system for an ocean sampling vessel to be deployed by the Orange County Sanitation District (OC San) in California. The vessel will support OC San’s Ocean Monitoring Program which ensures that waters are safe for swimming, fishing, and marine life. The vessel is expected to be delivered to OC San in 2027.
