Erma First buys Ecochlor
System provider | Greece-based ballast water system manufacturer, Erma First Group, has acquired Ecochlor, a system producer based in the United States. The deal establishes one of the largest system providers. Ecochlor’s system portfolio comprises a filtration- and ClO2-based system and two versions of the EcoOne™ unit. Earlier this year, one of Greece’s largest shipping groups, Angelicoussis, announced that it would retrofit 36 ships with the Ecochlor product.
