Maritime automation platform launched
Germany’s trade association Verband Deutscher Maschinen und Anlagenbau (VDMA) has set up a new platform, Advanced Maritime Technology (AMT), to promote automation and digitalisation in the shipping industry. Digitalisation is an essential component in shipping’s decarbonisation process and the AMT will help to drive progress in this field.
