Stand-alone vessel mooring system for demanding conditions
SHORETENSION® A partnership of the companies ShoreTension BV, Hoenderop BV, Gleistein Ropes and DSM Dyneema BV has developed the ShoreTension® stand-alone vessel mooring system. At the heart of the system are MegaTwin Dyneema® HS Dyneema® SSC lines made by Bremen-based Geo. Gleistein & Sohn GmbH. Both the load-bearing cores and the “snakeskin cover” of these lines are made with Dyneema® fibre from the Netherlands’ DSM, able to deliver the required properties for the system’s performance.
