Autopilot with fuel-saving features unveiled
A new autopilot from Germany’s Raytheon Anschütz, NautoPilot 5000NX , incorporates unique algorithms to support the most fuel-efficient vessel operation through optimal heading and track control in light of prevailing weather conditions. Ships‘ crews can reply on the autopilot display which provides all navigational information on a seven-inch graphical touchscreen.
