New study into digital HVAC systems
Fincantieri-owned shipbuilder Vard has secured NOK 4.95 million in funding from the Norwegian Research Council to undertake a research study – ICHzero – into digitalised heating, ventilation and air condition (HVAC) systems for service operation vessels (SOVs). These offshore wind support ships are being adapted with increasingly sustainable designs and renewable sources of power.
