New alliance for ship repair
GSR | A merger between the two Bremerhaven-based ship repair companies German Mechanics and Offshore GmbH and German Ship Repair GmbH & Co KG has resulted in the establishment of a new company called GSR German Ship Repair GmbH. The two repair firms have worked closely together for years, but the new alliance formalises this cooperation and will bring their respective strengths under one roof with effect from the beginning of May. German Ship Repair specialises primarily in the mobile retrofitting and conversion of ship systems while German Mechanics and Offshore provides a range of services including chipping, turning, pipe work and mechanical engineering....
