Jumbo names new offshore vessel
Stella Synergy | Dutch heavy-lift shipping and offshore transportation and installation contractor Jumbo has announced the name for its DP2 heavy-lift crane vessel (HLCV), which will be delivered in the first quarter of 2020. Following an internal naming competition it was decided that the name would be Stella Synergy . The HLCV has been designed together with Ulstein Design and Solutions BV. The main crane of the HLVC will have a 2,500-tonne capacity. Furthermore, Jumbo has opted for a triple hoist to allow for complex upending operations and chose an active heave compensated (AHC) auxiliary block of 600 tonnes with a depth rating of 3,000m....
