Passenger evacuation system upgraded, new functionalities added
Viking Life-Saving Equipment has added new functionalities to the Undertun commuter ferry evacuation system with upgrades that will enable it to be used effectively in open waters. The Danish company acquired all Undertun design, production, and supply rights last year and, since then, has made two major upgrades to the system that has been used so far in sheltered waters in Norway.
