Upgrade of Island Wellserver completed
LWI | Norwegian shipbuilder Vard has completed a major upgrade and maintenance programme on the I sland Wellserver , a 116m-long multi-purpose vessel owned by Island Offshore. Delivered in 2008, the vessel is designed for light well intervention (LWI), subsea installation, crane work, and inspection, maintenance and repair services. The yard replaced the vessel’s remotely operated vehicle (ROV) system, installed new winch systems and carried out general repairs.
