Sensored containers to enable real-time tracking
Singapore-headquartered container service, Ocean Network Express (ONE), and Sony Network Communications Europe, have announced plans to develop and adopt sensored containers. The ‘smart’ containers will provide ONE with scope to monitor its container fleet more closely in real time. Data will enable better visibility of containers as well as faster and more proactive decision-making, ONE said in a statement.
