New offshore firm will locate in Fosnavåg and St. John’s
French offshore marine service firm, Bourbon, and Canada’s Horizon Maritime have set up a new joint venture, Bourbon Horizon AS, to focus on offshore operations in harsh environments. Established in Norway, with its operational base in Fosnavåg at the heart of the country’s west coast offshore community, and in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, the company has a fleet of seven ships.
