Second chemical tanker starts service
Dual-fuel | UK-based ship services group, James Fisher and Sons plc, has taken delivery of a second LNG dual-fuel chemical tanker, Lady Maria Fisher . The vessel joins sister ship, Sir John Fisher , delivered in November, and is capable of cutting carbon and SOx emissions by 45% and NOx by 93%, the company said. The new 6,106-dwt vessel was built at the China Merchant Jinling (CMJL) shipyard in Yangzhou. The two sister ships with a length of 93m and a breadth of 17m each have been designed for restricted access to ports in north Europe....
