Offshore firm sharpens focus on wind with new division
Marseille-based Bourbon Offshore is creating a new division to streamline its corporate development in the offshore wind sector. The move follows ten years of installation work on floating wind farm prototypes in Europe, the company said. Focusing on support for offshore wind facilities ranging in capacity from 1 MW to 250 MW by 2030, Bourbon Wind will coordinate group activities across the sector, creating important cross-functional synergies. The company said it will contribute to the growth of the renewable energy industry – and offshore wind power in particular – either as a service provider or as an engineering, procurement, construction, installation (EPCI) contractor in Europe and around the world....
